Accessibility at Cinemark
We strive to ensure a comprehensively inclusive moviegoing experience for all our guests. That’s why we’re movie theater accessibility-equipped, offering Closed Caption, Assisted Listening, and Descriptive Narration technologies, and accessible seating—both Wheelchair Spaces and Companion Seats.
Ask a Cinemark associate for a Ultra Stereo Headset, which provides the guest with personal amplified sound featuring separate audio tracks, or a Neck Loop device, which connects directly to the guest’s T-Switch hearing aid or implant.
What is closed captioning technology? Ultra Stereo Closed Caption Receivers and Closed Caption screen kits are devices that attach directly to the guest’s cupholder, displaying captions throughout screening. Ask a Cinemark associate about Closed Caption to get set up at your next movie.
What is open captioning technology? Select Cinemark theatres offer on-screen captions for select showtimes. On-screen open captions display dialog and sound descriptions in text throughout a film. Please see below for list of locations that offer on-screen open captions.
Locations
Ask a Cinemark associate about Descriptive Narration, and they will provide an Ultra Stereo Headset, and/or a Neck Loop device, which will transmit detailed narration throughout the screening.
Reserve Wheelchair Accessible seats when you purchase tickets or ask a Cinemark associate about Wheelchair Spaces and Companion seats. Each auditorium is equipped to accommodate wheelchair users and the people with whom they are attending a screening.
