Movie Club FAQ - Billing

Cinemark accepts most domestic and international cards issued by major financial institutions.  Monthly payments will be made on an automatic, recurring basis.  Gift cards cannot be used for Movie Club membership payments.

You can update your credit card for monthly recurring charges by logging into your account at cinemark.com/movieclub and editing your payment information.

Yes. Cinemark will charge the credit card on record for the member price, typically on the 30th day of the billing cycle. The exact billing date for the next monthly billing will be displayed on your account at cinemark.com/movieclub.

Unless the membership fee has changed, Cinemark will NOT send any notification prior to charging the credit card for the membership renewal.

The membership fee and terms of enrollment will not be changed during the course of the membership month. However, Cinemark reserves the right to change the membership fee and terms of enrollment at the time of monthly renewal. If the membership fee and terms of enrollment are changed, Cinemark will send an email notification to members prior to renewal with instructions for cancellation of the account.

While we’d love to keep you as a member, canceling is easy to do.

Contact us at 1-800-Cinemark, or sign in to your Cinemark account online and visit cinemark.com/movie-rewards. Expand the "Manage Your Membership" section towards the bottom of the page and click "Cancel Membership" to cancel.

Any unused Movie Club credits will expire 6 months from your cancellation date. All other Movie Club benefits will end on the last date of your last billing cycle.

If the credit card on record cannot be charged, the membership will be canceled and we will send an email notifying you of the cancellation, which will go into effect on the date which would have been your next billing cycle.

There are no additional discounts or family memberships available at this time. But remember, the Cinemark Movie Club includes special companion benefits, including the ability to purchase an additional companion ticket for any regular 2D movie for the member price, with the ability to upgrade to a premium format for a small upcharge. Plus, you can share your benefits like concession discount and waived online fees.

Contact your bank or credit agency to update your mailing information and billing zip code for the card account. The billing zip code for your Cinemark account must match the issuing agency’s records.

Once that change has been confirmed, go to cinemark.com/movieclub and click “Sign In” at the top of the page to log into your account.

Click the “Manage Your Membership” menu within your account profile to view payment details.

Click “Edit Payment” to enter the updated card info, including your new billing zip code, and click save.

Please note: Changing billing zip codes may affect the price for your membership. Click here to view our general FAQ with pricing information.
