What Are the New Movies Playing in Theatres on Easter 2025?

Easter is a holiday of rebirth — the beginning of a bright new season each year, and with it comes new movies. So what are the big Easter movies for 2025? This year, the big new releases are SINNERS and THE WEDDING BANQUET. More big March and April releases will still be in theaters, too.

Here are all the new movies in theaters for Easter 2025.

When Is Easter in 2025?

This year, Easter Sunday falls relatively late in the year, on April 20, so the Easter Weekend movie releases come out on Friday, April 18.

The Wedding BanquetThe Wedding Banquet | Cinemark
